Low of 28 degrees tonight. Currently it's 32 degrees with some snow on the ground.
Amy and I spent the entire day together! It was fantastic reconnecting with her after being gone for 2 weeks.
Went to the "Lodge" downtown to inquire about the availability of an apartment. No vacancy.
Went to an apt complex and their remaining unit has just be leased.
Doors seem to be closing here in Idaho Springs. Maybe God is communicating his will for Amy and me.
Then the real shocker came later today: Bruce Bell said the cabin...you know the one I spent months building...is no longer available for Amy and I. That was pretty much the last housing opportunity left here in town.
So, Amy and I are weighing our options now. But, it looks like we will have to move. My work may be done here in Idaho Springs, Colorado.
Amy's tenure at the pizzeria is almost complete. She and I will need to spend more time with planning our wedding. Likewise, time will need to be spent planning for a move. That we did not see coming.
Pastor Josh, his wife, Emily, and their 2 daughters will be joining us for supper at Beau Jos Pizza after attending Sunday night services at Calvary Idaho Springs. Amy and I are looking forward to that to be sure.
A big thanks to Jim Burns and his significant other, Deborah Lee, for their awesome generosity and the love they showed me in Quincy, Illinois. Frankly, I don't know what I would do without them. And, to think I would never had met them if not for my walk. Amazing how things turn out.
Thanks to all my Quincy donors:
