In Denver at last!

Got into Denver early evening yesterday. Rich Nelson picked me up. Staying with the Nelsons for a couple of weeks. Then on to other friends for the balance of my stay in the Centennial State.

Starting job with the tree service on Thursday. Will be arranging volunteer work with the homeless cafe.

May work part time for Heartland Construction in Englewood. Attempting to set that up today.

Walked the 8 miles to Barnes and Noble. Got my usual: iced green tea unsweetened. Smoking my pipe. Rivendale tobacco. Doesn't get any better than this. Alright it does get better. But this is one of life's little joys.

Missing Andrew now. We would come over here after work and smoke our pipes and drink tea and watch/listen to all the Middle Eastern and Russian people talking, playing cards  and chess. The Mosque is right down the street. On Fridays you can hear the call to prayers which according to President Obama is the sweetest music to his ears. Haha.

Meeting with Howard Carlisle of Heartland Construction tonight to discuss my employment processing their insurance work and settlements from the recent hail storms.

Need to make some calls.

Its great being back home in Denver!!!

Last pics are of the High Line Canal Trail I used to hike regularly through Cherry Hills the most expensive real estate in America.
