The Opera House built 1882, Gazebo in the square and the Schuyler County Courthouse

Part of the Rushville, IL downtown /square was built two decades after the War Between The States. Beautiful old architecture with ornate masonry and carpentry craftsmanship. Its 5:30pm and its time for the Rushville adventure.

After making overnight arrangements with Faith Christian Church; I am to call Associate Pastor  Brandon Thompson when I get into town. Its Wednesday and services are held at 7pm. The church is located 3 miles west of town out in the prairie. The church agreed I could camp out on their acreage.
