The power company is changing out some equipment so all of the power is out for a few hours. I left my tent and moseyed on downtown. Had a nice conversation with a Monroe County Deputy Sheriff. Will go back to my tent soon to get some sleep. The only light on in the entire town is at the courthouse fountain. All the street lights and house lights are off. Very eerie. Reminds me of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina which I worked as an adjuster in 2005. The whole city was pitch black at night. The Sheriff told me I could sit there at the fountain if I have wanted to.
